Privacy Policy

• Account data. Your email address, and a display name if you provide one. You sign in with an email and password, or with a one time link sent to your email.
• Payment data. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe gives us, so we know what you have access to.
• Licence data. Licence keys and the machine activations attached to them, so a licence works on your PCs and not on everyone else's.
• Discord data. If you link Discord, your Discord user ID and roles in our server, so subscriber roles can be granted and removed automatically.
• Analytics. Google Analytics, and only after you accept cookies. This is aggregate traffic data, not tied to your account.

We do not collect gameplay data, we do not read your keystrokes outside the software's own operation, and we do not have access to your Blizzard account.

When the desktop app validates a licence or downloads a rotation, we collect the IP address, approximate location (country, region and city), device fingerprint and a shortened, hashed licence identifier. PostHog also receives your account email address, linked Discord handle if you have linked one, and your licence expiry and beta-access status, plus your subscription plan type, status and price. We use this for abuse prevention and product usage analytics. PostHog processes the event history. Current-state device records are kept while your account is active, and PostHog keeps event history for its stated retention period.

To create your account, take payment, issue and validate your licence, sync your Discord role, provide support, and understand how the site is used. Nothing else.

We use these providers, and each holds only the data it needs:

• Supabase, for accounts and the database.
• Stripe, for payments.
• Keygen, for licensing.
• Discord, for the community and role sync.
• Amazon Web Services, for software downloads.
• Vercel, for hosting.
• Google Analytics, for site analytics, subject to your cookie choice.
• PostHog, for product usage analytics.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

We use a cookie to remember your session so you stay signed in, and a cookie to remember your consent choice. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept. Declining or ignoring the banner leaves analytics off, and the site still works.

Account and licence records are kept while your account exists, and afterwards only as long as we need them for accounting and fraud prevention. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data, apart from what payment records we are required to keep.

Reviews shown on our homepage come from our Discord reviews channel, and only once an admin has approved the message. They are published anonymously: we store the text and the date, never the author's name or Discord ID, and mentions and links are stripped. Delete your message in Discord and it disappears from the site at the next sync.

Rice is not intended for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age of your country if that is higher.
