Outlaw Rogue rotation assistant for World of Warcraft
Roll the Bones decided for you, and Blade Flurry on when trash deserves it.
Rice Rotations reads your Outlaw Rogue from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.
How the Outlaw Rogue profile plays
Outlaw is the most bookkeeping heavy Rogue spec and the best case for an assistant. Rice reads the Roll the Bones buffs and decides whether to keep them or reroll, spends Opportunity procs on Pistol Shot, and keeps Sinister Strike and Dispatch cycling without wasting Broadside.
DPS is about never wasting a global. Rice keeps your builder and spender priority correct through procs and haste changes, lines burst cooldowns up with the window they are meant for, and switches to the multi-target priority when the pull is actually stacked rather than when a timer says so.
The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Outlaw Rogue settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.
Cooldowns and burst windows
Adrenaline Rush is opened with a good Roll the Bones set, Between the Eyes is kept up as part of the loop rather than pressed randomly, and Keep it Rolling is spent on a set actually worth keeping.
What the Outlaw Rogue rotation handles
- Roll the Bones buffs read, kept or rerolled
- Blade Flurry kept up on packs
- Opportunity and Broadside procs consumed correctly
- Kick on interrupts, Evasion, Feint and Cloak of Shadows on damage
Raid, Mythic+ and the rest
Single target plays the buff management cleanly. On packs Blade Flurry is treated as maintenance, so the cleave window does not drop while the rest of the priority runs, and Between the Eyes upkeep continues through the pull.
Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.
Setup and safety
Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.
- Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
- Midnight retail is supported.
- Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.
Outlaw Rogue questions
- Does it decide when to reroll Roll the Bones?
- Yes, and it is one of the clearest wins for an assistant: the decision is made from the actual buff set every time instead of from a rule of thumb.
- Does it drop Blade Flurry during a pull?
- No, the cleave window is treated as maintenance and refreshed as part of the priority.
