Arms Warrior rotation assistant for World of Warcraft
Colossus Smash open, Sweeping Strikes on, damage where the priority add is.
Rice Rotations reads your Arms Warrior from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.
How the Arms Warrior profile plays
Arms is rage and Colossus Smash windows. Rice keeps Mortal Strike and Deep Wounds up, spends Overpower to buff the next Mortal Strike, banks rage before the Smash window and empties it inside, and takes Execute the moment the target is in range.
DPS is about never wasting a global. Rice keeps your builder and spender priority correct through procs and haste changes, lines burst cooldowns up with the window they are meant for, and switches to the multi-target priority when the pull is actually stacked rather than when a timer says so.
The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Arms Warrior settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.
Cooldowns and burst windows
Colossus Smash or Warbreaker is aligned with Avatar so the debuff and the buff overlap. Bladestorm and Cleave are used where they hit multiple targets rather than pressed as they come up.
What the Arms Warrior rotation handles
- Mortal Strike and Deep Wounds uptime
- Rage banked before Colossus Smash and spent inside it
- Sweeping Strikes and Cleave maintained on packs
- Pummel on interrupts, Die by the Sword and Rallying Cry on damage
Raid, Mythic+ and the rest
Single target protects the Smash window. On packs Sweeping Strikes and Cleave are maintained through the pull, and Thunder Clap keeps Deep Wounds spread so the cleave actually pays.
Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.
Setup and safety
Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.
- Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
- Midnight retail is supported.
- Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.
Arms Warrior questions
- Does it bank rage for the burst window?
- Yes, and that is the difference between an Arms window that hits and one that is spent generating rage you should already have had.
- Does it use Execute on time?
- Execute is taken as soon as the target is in range, including from procs, which is easy to miss by hand.
