Balance Druid rotation assistant for World of Warcraft
Eclipse keeps its shape through target swaps and forced movement.
Rice Rotations reads your Balance Druid from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.
How the Balance Druid profile plays
Balance is an Astral Power budget with two Eclipses. Rice tracks which Eclipse is active, casts the filler that Eclipse buffs, spends into Starsurge or Starfall before overcapping, and keeps Moonfire and Sunfire from drifting off the targets that matter.
DPS is about never wasting a global. Rice keeps your builder and spender priority correct through procs and haste changes, lines burst cooldowns up with the window they are meant for, and switches to the multi-target priority when the pull is actually stacked rather than when a timer says so.
The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Balance Druid settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.
Cooldowns and burst windows
Celestial Alignment or Incarnation is opened with Astral Power banked and the dots already out, so the window is spent on spenders instead of on setup. Fury of Elune and Convoke land inside the same window rather than scattered across the fight.
What the Balance Druid rotation handles
- Eclipse tracked, with the correct filler for the active Eclipse
- Astral Power spent before it overcaps
- Moonfire and Sunfire uptime maintained across targets
- Solar Beam on interrupt duty, Barkskin and Renewal as damage lands
Raid, Mythic+ and the rest
Single target protects Eclipse and dot uptime. On a pull it switches the spender to Starfall, spreads dots across the pack, and decides whether the pack is worth the big cooldown or should be handled with the filler rotation and Solar Beam.
Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.
Setup and safety
Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.
- Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
- Midnight retail is supported.
- Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.
Balance Druid questions
- Does it keep dots up while I move?
- Yes. Dot maintenance and instant casts are what the profile falls back to while you are moving, which is where hand played Balance usually loses uptime.
- Will it overcap Astral Power during burst?
- It spends before capping and banks before the window opens, so Celestial Alignment is not spent generating resource you should already have had.
