Guardian Druid rotation assistant for World of Warcraft

Profile updated 7 days ago

Ironfur stacks track the damage you are taking rather than the rage you happen to have.

Rice Rotations reads your Guardian Druid from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.

How the Guardian Druid profile plays

Guardian is a rage economy. Rice splits rage between Ironfur for physical damage and Frenzied Regeneration for actual health loss, keeps Mangle, Thrash and Moonfire generating, and does not stack Ironfur into a magic hit where it does nothing.

Tanking is where a rotation assistant earns its keep: mitigation has to land before the damage does, not after it. Rice tracks the boss cast bar and your own resources, spends your active mitigation on the hits that matter, holds a defensive back for the next one, and keeps interrupts and taunt-adjacent utility available while you drive positioning and route.

The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Guardian Druid settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.

Cooldowns and burst windows

Barkskin and Survival Instincts are spent on the damage events rather than on cooldown, Rage of the Sleeper is held for a window where it mitigates and cleaves at once, and Incarnation is used when the pull needs it rather than on pull.

What the Guardian Druid rotation handles

  • Rage split between Ironfur and Frenzied Regeneration by damage type
  • Thrash and Moonfire kept up across the pull
  • Barkskin and Survival Instincts spent on damage events
  • Skull Bash on interrupt duty, Incapacitating Roar when it is needed

Raid, Mythic+ and the rest

Raid keeps a steady Ironfur uptime through predictable damage. In Mythic+ it leans into Thrash and Swipe cleave, keeps Moonfire on the pull for damage and rage, and treats the first seconds of a pack as the moment mitigation has to already be up.

Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.

Setup and safety

Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.

  • Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
  • Midnight retail is supported.
  • Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.

Guardian Druid questions

Does it know when Ironfur is useless?
It biases rage away from Ironfur stacking on magic damage and towards Frenzied Regeneration when you are actually losing health.
Can I still control pull timing?
Yes. You pull, route and position; the profile handles the button pressing including mitigation.
