Blood Death Knight rotation assistant for World of Warcraft
Runic Power goes into Death Strike when the damage is coming, not when the bar is full.
Rice Rotations reads your Blood Death Knight from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.
How the Blood Death Knight profile plays
Blood lives and dies by Bone Shield uptime and by Death Strike timing. Rice keeps Marrowrend from being spammed into an overcapped Bone Shield, holds Death Strike until there is damage on the way or a Blood Shield worth putting up, and fills with Heart Strike and Blood Boil so Blood Plague never falls off and runes never sit full.
Tanking is where a rotation assistant earns its keep: mitigation has to land before the damage does, not after it. Rice tracks the boss cast bar and your own resources, spends your active mitigation on the hits that matter, holds a defensive back for the next one, and keeps interrupts and taunt-adjacent utility available while you drive positioning and route.
The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Blood Death Knight settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.
Cooldowns and burst windows
Dancing Rune Weapon is spent inside real damage rather than on pull, Vampiric Blood is saved for the hit you cannot Death Strike through, and Tombstone only fires with enough Bone Shield stacks to be worth the trade. Anti-Magic Shell and Icebound Fortitude are held for magic damage and stuns instead of being burned early.
What the Blood Death Knight rotation handles
- Mind Freeze on the casts that matter, not on every cast bar
- Death Strike held for damage windows and Blood Shield upkeep
- Bone Shield stacks kept up without overcapping Marrowrend
- Anti-Magic Shell, Icebound Fortitude and Vampiric Blood as damage lands
Raid, Mythic+ and the rest
In raid the profile plays around a known damage pattern and pools Runic Power for it. In Mythic+ it swaps to Blood Boil and Heart Strike cleave, keeps the plague ticking on the whole pull for healing, and treats big trash packs like the incoming damage event they are.
Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.
Setup and safety
Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.
- Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
- Midnight retail is supported.
- Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.
Blood Death Knight questions
- Does the Blood Death Knight profile handle Death Strike as a heal or as damage?
- Both, in that order. Death Strike is treated as your main mitigation and healing tool, so the profile waits for damage or a Blood Shield refresh instead of dumping Runic Power the moment the bar is full.
- Can I still control the route and pulls while tanking?
- Yes. You drive movement, positioning, route and pull timing. The assistant presses the rotation, mitigation and interrupts while you play the tank.
