Evoker · DPS
Devastation Evoker rotation assistant for World of Warcraft
Empowers released at the rank the moment deserves.
Rice Rotations reads your Devastation Evoker from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.
How the Devastation Evoker profile plays
Devastation is empower timing plus Essence management. Rice picks empower ranks based on how long the target will live and what is buffed, spends Essence Burst on Disintegrate before it falls off, and keeps Living Flame and Azure Strike as the filler that never wastes a global while hovering.
DPS is about never wasting a global. Rice keeps your builder and spender priority correct through procs and haste changes, lines burst cooldowns up with the window they are meant for, and switches to the multi-target priority when the pull is actually stacked rather than when a timer says so.
The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Devastation Evoker settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.
Cooldowns and burst windows
Fire Breath and Eternity Surge are lined up with Dragonrage rather than fired as they come up, and Deep Breath is used where it actually hits multiple targets. The profile opens Dragonrage with the resources to fill it.
What the Devastation Evoker rotation handles
- Empower ranks chosen for the target and the window
- Essence Burst spent before it expires
- Dragonrage opened with resources banked
- Quell on interrupts, Obsidian Scales and Renewing Blaze on damage
Raid, Mythic+ and the rest
Single target guards the empower and Essence Burst loop. On packs it shifts to Azure Strike and Deep Breath cleave, and reads target count before committing Eternity Surge, so the empower is spent where it multiplies.
Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.
Setup and safety
Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.
- Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
- Midnight retail is supported.
- Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.
Devastation Evoker questions
- Does it handle empower spells correctly?
- Empower rank selection is one of the things a profile does better than hands: it picks the rank for the situation instead of holding every cast at maximum.
- Can it play while hovering?
- Yes. Movement stays with you and the profile keeps casting the parts of the rotation that work on the move.
