Preservation Evoker rotation assistant for World of Warcraft

Profile updated 2 days ago

Reversion and Echo running underneath, Rewind ready for when it goes wrong.

Rice Rotations reads your Preservation Evoker from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.

How the Preservation Evoker profile plays

Preservation is a buffer and empower spec. Rice keeps Echo and Reversion out ahead of damage, chooses Dream Breath and Spiritbloom ranks for the number of people who need them, and fills with Living Flame and Emerald Blossom rather than hard casting into an already healthy group.

Healing is triage under time pressure. Rice watches the health of the group on screen, keeps your filler and your efficient heals flowing, saves the strong cooldown for the damage event instead of dumping it early, and covers dispels so a bad debuff does not sit for four seconds while you are moving.

The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Preservation Evoker settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.

Cooldowns and burst windows

Rewind is held for the moment it undoes a real spike, Stasis is filled with the right spells before it is released, and Temporal Anomaly goes out ahead of the damage instead of after it.

What the Preservation Evoker rotation handles

  • Echo and Reversion kept out ahead of damage
  • Empower ranks chosen from how many targets need the heal
  • Rewind and Stasis held for real spikes
  • Naturalize and Cauterizing Flame dispels, Obsidian Scales on damage

Raid, Mythic+ and the rest

Raid healing plays the pre ramp with Echo and Stasis. In Mythic+ it keeps the tank buffered through physical hits and stays reactive, and it does not burn the big empowers on chip damage.

Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.

Setup and safety

Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.

  • Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
  • Midnight retail is supported.
  • Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.

Preservation Evoker questions

Does it use Stasis?
Yes, and it fills Stasis with the spells worth storing before releasing it, which is one of the fiddliest parts of the spec by hand.
Will it overheal?
The profile checks whether a target already has coverage before spending a cast, and settings control how aggressive the pre ramp is.
