Devourer Demon Hunter rotation assistant for World of Warcraft

Profile updated 7 days ago

Soul harvest into Collapsing Star, with Void Metamorphosis timed to the burn and none of the mobility given up.

Rice Rotations reads your Devourer Demon Hunter from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.

How the Devourer Demon Hunter profile plays

Devourer weaves Fury and Souls. Rice spends Fury on Void Ray as soon as it is available, cashes Voidfall stacks and Shattered Souls with Reap instead of letting them sit, and fills with Consume so both resources keep feeding each other rather than one starving the other.

DPS is about never wasting a global. Rice keeps your builder and spender priority correct through procs and haste changes, lines burst cooldowns up with the window they are meant for, and switches to the multi-target priority when the pull is actually stacked rather than when a timer says so.

The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Devourer Demon Hunter settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.

Cooldowns and burst windows

Void Metamorphosis is entered with the resources to actually use it, and Collapsing Star is spent inside that window rather than the moment it lights up. The profile treats the burst form as a window to fill, not a button to clear.

What the Devourer Demon Hunter rotation handles

  • Void Ray used on cooldown, Voidfall stacks cashed before they overcap
  • Soul generation and spending kept in balance
  • Void Metamorphosis entered with resources banked
  • Disrupt on interrupts, Consume Magic to purge, Blur and Darkness on damage

Raid, Mythic+ and the rest

At range the priority stays stable while you move, which is most of what makes Devourer awkward by hand. On packs the profile shifts the Reap and Consume balance for cleave and only enters the burst form when the pull will live long enough to pay for it.

Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.

Setup and safety

Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.

  • Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
  • Midnight retail is supported.
  • Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.

Devourer Demon Hunter questions

Is the new Midnight Demon Hunter spec supported?
Yes. Devourer has a profile like every other specialization, included in the same subscription, and it is updated on the same patch cadence as the rest.
Is this better than the in game Single-Button Assistant for Devourer?
It is a different tool. The game’s assistant leaves out the burst form entirely and costs you globals; this is a full priority that uses Void Metamorphosis and Collapsing Star.
