Vengeance Demon Hunter rotation assistant for World of Warcraft
Fragments and Demon Spikes kept ahead of the damage, not spent behind it.
Rice Rotations reads your Vengeance Demon Hunter from the game picture, decides which ability comes next, and presses the key for it from a second PC or a virtual machine. It runs on World of Warcraft Midnight retail and on Mists of Pandaria Classic, and the profile is included in the same subscription as the other thirty-nine specializations.
How the Vengeance Demon Hunter profile plays
Vengeance is a Soul Fragment engine. Rice fractures for fragments, decides between Soul Cleave and Spirit Bomb based on fragment count and how many mobs are in front of you, and keeps Sigil of Flame and Fiery Brand contributing instead of sitting on cooldown.
Tanking is where a rotation assistant earns its keep: mitigation has to land before the damage does, not after it. Rice tracks the boss cast bar and your own resources, spends your active mitigation on the hits that matter, holds a defensive back for the next one, and keeps interrupts and taunt-adjacent utility available while you drive positioning and route.
The profile reacts to the pull instead of replaying a fixed list: interrupts fire on casts that matter, dispels go out when a debuff lands, and cooldowns are held for the burst window rather than used the moment they come up. Dozens of Vengeance Demon Hunter settings decide how aggressive or how conservative that behaviour is, so a raid night and a Mythic+ push can use different profiles of the same spec.
Cooldowns and burst windows
Demon Spikes is spent on physical damage rather than kept on cooldown, Fiery Brand goes on the mob actually hitting you, and Metamorphosis and Fel Devastation are held for the moment the pull turns rather than used on contact.
What the Vengeance Demon Hunter rotation handles
- Soul Fragments spent as mitigation or damage depending on the pull
- Demon Spikes and Fiery Brand aligned with physical damage
- Sigil of Flame and Sigil of Silence kept useful
- Disrupt, Consume Magic and Darkness available when you need them
Raid, Mythic+ and the rest
In raid the profile plays a tighter Soul Cleave pattern around known damage. In Mythic+ it swaps to Spirit Bomb on stacked packs for the healing and the cleave, and treats a fresh pull as a mitigation problem first and a damage problem second.
Raid nights, Mythic+ keystones, delves, world content and levelling alts. Rice Rotations is built and tuned for PvE, so there are no arena or battleground profiles. The desktop client is Windows only.
Setup and safety
Nothing is attached to the game: there is no injection, no memory reading and no unlocker. Rice runs on a second PC or a virtual machine, reads your gaming PC as a video stream and sends keystrokes back, so the machine running World of Warcraft only ever sees keyboard input arriving.
- Built and tuned for PvE. No arena or battleground profiles.
- Midnight retail is supported.
- Classic is Mists of Pandaria only, so no Era, no Wrath, no other ruleset.
Vengeance Demon Hunter questions
- Does it hold Demon Spikes for physical damage?
- Yes. Demon Spikes charges are treated as mitigation to spend on incoming physical hits, not as a filler button to press whenever it is available.
- Spirit Bomb or Soul Cleave?
- Both, chosen from fragment count and target count, with a setting to bias it if you prefer the raid pattern or the Mythic+ pattern.
